Listen, monster.

'Rawr,' said the monster, coming out of his flat,
Off to the shops to buy a present for dad,
Wearing a jacket he thought made him look fly,
Totally worth making that poor cow die,
Got into Clintons and asked for a card,
But he couldn't use words so that was quite hard,
The staff all got scared and, unsure what to say,
Asked if the monster could just go away,
'Listen, monster, we don't serve your kind!
Now bugger off home, stop wasting our time!'
The monster cried, but it sounded like 'Growl',
The staff in the shop thought he was most foul.
He went on his way with his head in his hands,
Hoping his dad would still understand.
