Are Kingsmill paedophiles?

Did you know that when I was 16 I did a week of psychology at A Level? You didn't, did you? Unfortunately I had to drop psychology because it clashed with media studies. I think you'll all agree that I made the right choice. Anyway that week of lessons made me totally qualified to talk about the brain and why we do shit so here goes.

Today there was an advert on TV for bread. Bread adverts normally aren't the best thing since their product was invented and this one was no different. There was a lot of badly written copy and the little boy in it had a stupid hair cut and that was about all there was to it. At least that's what I thought. Obviously because it was rubbish I forgot about it instantly but apparently the people at the Daily Mail didn't! They remembered it so well that they felt it would be a good idea to write a whole article all about it. Weird right? Why waste time writing about a bread commercial?

Here's the ad. See if you feel outraged by it.

Awful, yeah? But I didn't find myself feeling angry UNTIL I read the Daily Mail article. Now I'm fuming. Here's the problem, according to that article: The girl is wearing a short skit. This sexualises children.

Monsters! How dare they?!? Showing a school girl in the sort of clothes a school girl would actually wear? This has to stop. Burn the BBC, I'm sure it's their fault. Of course the actress who plays the school girl is 18 years old and the message that I reckon Kingsmill were trying to put across is that their bread is full of goodness to give you a bit of a head start to the day.

I could be wrong though. They could really run an underground sex ring and your kids could be in danger. Don't eat their bread, it's poisonous and they WILL COME FOR YOU.

Evil?
