You wake up dazed, you're not sure where,
It seems like no-one really cares,
Your neighbours all just stand and stare,
With camera phones up in the air.
You run around, you look for aid,
Memories flash again then fade,
A crowd has formed, won't go away,
Your house seemed warm, you should have stayed.
A car pulls up and out does climb,
A man with murder on his mind,
He points a gun to end your time,
You run after a place to hide.
Suddenly you find some mates,
Your problems they appreciate,
The facts of it they start to state,
You can all get out, it's not too late!
But that was bull, more killers turn up,
Problems are about to erupt,
You climb in a stranger's van, you've had enough,
Get kidnapped by him, it's about to get rough.
Shit goes down, then weirdly,
It turns out you're actually on TV,
You did a crime, quite bad it seems,
And now you're entertainment across the nation's screens.
People clap, your day is done,
Back tomorrow for more psycho fun,
Taxpayer's money funds your celebrity run,
But the advertising potential means the bank has won.
